Since our founding in 2012, BSLBATT has grown by staying one step ahead of market demand — investing early in the people, processes, and equipment needed to support it. That philosophy reaches a new milestone today: following the upgrade of our automated lithium battery module assembly line earlier this year, we have now officially launched a brand-new, fully automated assembly line at our smart factory.
This new line integrates laser welding, robotic collaboration, and intelligent in-line inspection technologies into a single, continuous production flow. Rather than treating module assembly and pack assembly as separate operations handled by different teams or different suppliers, the entire process — cell sorting, module stacking, and final PACK assembly — now runs under one roof, on one connected line.
For our customers, that consolidation isn’t just an internal efficiency story. It directly translates into more consistent battery packs, more rigorous safety screening, and faster turnaround on customized orders.
A fully automated lithium battery line earns its name only if automation runs through every stage, not just the headline step. Here’s how production flows on our new line:
Before any cell enters a module, it is sorted and screened against tight quality criteria. Automated sorting at this stage catches inconsistencies in voltage and internal resistance early, so only matched, qualified cells move forward into module stacking — a key factor in long-term pack balance and cycle life.

Collaborative robotic arms — visible on our floor handling prismatic cells with multi-axis grippers — pick, align, and stack cells into their module configuration with repeatable precision. Vision-guided positioning systems verify placement and spacing at every cycle, removing the variability that comes with manual stacking on high-mix production.
Once cells are stacked and housed, bus bars and connection terminals are joined using laser welding rather than screw-and-insert methods. Laser-welded joints offer:

Modules then move to PACK assembly, where high-precision robotic arms and vision positioning systems control torque and spacing at every connection point. This stage is what our team refers to internally as “zero-error” assembly — every fastener, every busbar connection, built to the same specification regardless of which unit on the line it belongs to. The outcome is a battery pack with significantly improved shock resistance and long-term durability.

Quality control isn’t a final checkpoint at the end of the line — it’s embedded throughout. Real-time temperature monitoring and short-circuit testing run at every critical production stage, and each finished battery undergoes rigorous screening before it’s cleared for shipment. Packs that don’t meet spec don’t move forward.
Manual assembly inevitably introduces small variations — a slightly different torque here, a fractionally different spacing there. Across thousands of packs, those small variations compound into real differences in field performance. By moving torque and spacing control onto robotic arms guided by vision systems, BSLBATT eliminates that variability at the connection-point level, which directly strengthens the shock resistance and durability of every pack we ship.
Embedding temperature monitoring and short-circuit testing into the line itself — rather than treating them as a separate end-of-line QA step — means problems are caught at the stage where they occur, not several stations later. Every battery is screened for stable, safe performance under demanding operating conditions before it leaves the factory.
Industrial customers rarely order one configuration at scale; they need forklift packs, AGV packs, and energy-storage packs, often in the same week. Our new line is built for mixed-model production across multiple battery pack configurations, which means we can respond to customized requirements without retooling a separate line for every order. In practice, this flexibility has helped reduce delivery lead times by up to 30%.
BSLBATT’s approach to manufacturing has never been to outsource the parts that matter most. From our patented Battery Management System (BMS) to mechanical design, module assembly, and final PACK integration, we design, develop, and manufacture every critical stage in-house. The new automated line is the latest expression of that philosophy — bringing laser welding, robotics, and inspection technology that many manufacturers buy in from third parties fully under our own roof and our own quality control.
This matters for customers for a simple reason: when one company controls the BMS, the module design, and the assembly process end-to-end, there’s no handoff between suppliers where specifications can drift. What we design is exactly what gets built.
This new automated assembly line is a milestone, not a finish line. As BSLBATT continues to grow, we’ll keep investing in the production technology that lets us deliver lithium battery solutions our customers can rely on — built on the same foundation of quality, reliability, and technological excellence that has guided us since 2012.

What technologies does BSLBATT’s new automated assembly line use?
The line combines laser welding, collaborative robotics, vision-guided positioning, and intelligent in-line inspection (real-time temperature monitoring and short-circuit testing) across cell sorting, module stacking, and PACK assembly.
How does automation improve battery pack quality?
Robotic arms with vision positioning control torque and spacing at every connection point with much tighter consistency than manual assembly, improving shock resistance and durability. In-line inspection at each stage catches defects before they reach the next step.
Can BSLBATT’s automated line handle custom or mixed battery pack orders?
Yes. The line supports mixed-model production across multiple pack configurations, allowing rapid response to customized requirements and reducing delivery lead times by up to 30%.
Does BSLBATT manufacture its BMS in-house?
Yes. BSLBATT designs and manufactures its own patented Battery Management System in-house, alongside mechanical design, module assembly, and final PACK assembly — all under one roof.
